The Red Phoenix Theatre Company Under the Sea Jamboree was an incredible success! With over 100 guests in attendance, it was amazing to watch all of the little girls and boys be wowed by Ariel and her friends! We love that our students were able to make the little ones feel like "part of our world" for a few hours and we're thrilled with the money we've raised so far for Bert's Big Adventure!
Established in 2002, Bert’s Big Adventure is a nonprofit organization that provides a magical, all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World® for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families.
Following the annual trip, Bert’s Big Adventure provides year-round support through initiatives such as the Reunion Adventures, the Fairy Godparent volunteer program and additional charitable services. The trip and programs create a community of families that establish lasting friendships with others facing similar challenges.
In order to help make some of those Disney dreams come true, Red Phoenix hosted an Under The Sea Jamboree with some of the proceeds from ticket sales, silent auction items, and other donations all benefiting Bert's Big Adventure!
We offered everyone a chance to hang out with the cast of our production of The Little Mermaid! Enjoy sneak peek performances, a character breakfast, photo opportunities, games, prizes, and so much more! We even had silent auction items signed by the original voice of Disney's Ariel, Jodi Benson.

Under The Sea Jamboree
The Red Phoenix Theatre Company was thrilled to host a musical theatre workshop featuring Broadway star Nikki Snelson in the Fall of 2012! Nikki played the original Brooke Wyndham in Broadway's Legally Blonde: The Musical!
In addition to getting our students "Whipped into Shape" with her dance choreography, she gave some great insight for future auditions and awesome tips on how to become a triple threat in the Broadway world! She even joined us back stage on closing night to help pump up the energy for the show!
